Developed as my Bachelor's thesis in Design, this project investigated the role of imagery in communicating sensitive topics, specifically violence against women and femicide. The practical research sought alternatives to the literal and shocking representation often found in media. Through the use of visual metaphors and a symbolic approach, I created a series of editorial illustrations aimed at informing and sensitizing the reader, addressing the gravity of the subject with necessary ethics and delicacy, without resorting to visual sensationalism.
