Unisc Pinacoteca
Challenge
Create a visual identity for the university's art gallery (Pinacoteca) that conveys culture and institutional weight. The main challenge was to design a brand that wouldn't visually compete with the artworks, serving instead as an elegant, neutral support for diverse exhibitions.
My Role
Visual Identity, Logo Design, Graphic Design, and Signage.

Highlight
I looked to the etymology of "Pinacoteca" (a repository for paintings) to derive the concept of "frame" and "focus". The logo was constructed minimalistically, using open corners that suggest framing. This choice turned the identity into a dynamic system: the brand acts as a window that holds the content, ensuring that the colors and shapes of the exhibited pieces remain the main protagonist.
